2. Product Information

2.1 All products displayed on our website are subject to availability.

2.2 We strive to ensure that product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, slight variations in colour or dimensions may occur due to screen settings or manufacturing processes.

2.3 Prices displayed include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3. Orders and Payments

3.1 Orders can be placed through our website, by phone, or in-store. Confirmation of your order will be sent to you via email.

3.2 Payments can be made using credit/debit cards, PayPal, or bank transfers. All payments must be completed in full before order processing begins.

3.3 We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order for reasons including, but not limited to, pricing errors, product unavailability, or suspicion of fraudulent activity.

4. Delivery and Shipping

4.1 We offer delivery services within Ireland. Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are detailed during the checkout process.

4.2 Delivery dates provided are estimates and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you promptly of any delays.

4.3 Customers must ensure that delivery access is adequate for the product(s) ordered. If access is restricted, additional fees for re-delivery or specialised services may apply.

5. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

5.1 Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery in compliance with the Consumer Rights Directive (CRD). The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Customers may exercise their right of withdrawal during this period without providing a reason.

5.2 Custom or personalised furniture orders cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty due to manufacturing defects. This exemption from the cooling-off period is compliant with EU regulations.

5.3 For hygiene reasons, mattresses are non-returnable unless they are faulty or do not comply with the contract. If packaging is unsealed, these products may not qualify for a return.

5.4 Once an order is confirmed, cancellations or changes are not permitted unless within the 14-day cooling-off period for distance or off-premises sales. For items cancelled after arriving in stock outside the cooling-off period, full payment may be required. Deposits paid on cancelled items are non-refundable.

5.5 Refunds and exchanges are not available for items that have been delivered unless the item is faulty, does not meet the description, or fails to comply with statutory rights.

5.6 Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been inspected and approved.

6. Warranty and Liability

6.1 Scope of Warranty

All Le Divano products are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, subject to the specific time-frames set out in 6.2 below. This warranty applies only to residential (non-commercial) use.

6.2 Warranty Periods by Product Category

The time-frames above cover defects in materials or manufacturing only. Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or improper maintenance are excluded.

6.3 How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Proof of purchase (original receipt or invoice) is required.

  2. Photographic or video evidence of the fault must be supplied.

  3. Claims should be emailed to info@ledivano.ie or submitted in-store.

  4. We will inspect the evidence (or, if necessary, the product itself) and, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the item. Any replacement parts or repairs do not extend or renew the original warranty period.

6.4 Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorised repairs or alterations

  • Commercial, rental, or non-residential use

  • Damage resulting from incorrect assembly, improper cleaning, or exposure to excessive heat, moisture, sunlight, or pets

  • Natural characteristics of leather or timber (e.g., grain variations, minor colour changes)

  • Mattresses: comfort preference or normal softening of foams over time

6.5 Limitation of Liability

Le Divano’s liability is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the product. We shall not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or damages arising from the use—or inability to use—the product, including but not limited to loss of profits, business, or goodwill.
